Polyester has greater resistance with chemical (Chlorine bleaches) and severe laundering, so that it reduces risk in bleeding and fading. It is most widely used with heavy wash materials like hotel and catering wear, stock-wash jeans, sportswear or children's wear.

 

 

Polyester is stronger as comparing with rayon. Under high speed embroidering, it does not cause too much thread breakages. It also presents flame resistance without easily catching with fire even if clothes are near to fire.
